Galia Baron Yifrach is an Israeli filmmaker, director, scriptwriter, and producer — and the founder of Heat Flash Productions, a boutique production company creating short films, web and micro-series, music clips, and digital content.
Over the course of her career, Galia has participated in a wide range of productions — from intimate short films and satirical web series to music clips and branded content. Whether directing, writing, or producing, she brings a hands-on, deeply personal approach to every frame.
Her short films and series have earned recognition at international film festivals across four continents — with official selections and awards from the Austin Lift-Off Film Festival, Berlin Indie Film Festival, Tokyo Lift-Off Film Festival, Tokyo Women Film Festival, Tokyo ShortFest, Global Film Festival Awards, Indie Short Fest, and the XXIII Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival in Uruguay — including wins for Best Ensemble Cast, Best Parody Short, and Best Web Series/TV Pilot.
She also hosts Hagshama O-Ma!?, a podcast featuring conversations with women creators from the Israeli film and television industry — focusing on the way rather than the end result.
